Skyfire displays web pages and media on phone as normal and can handle ajax. For example, able to post online reply where IE was unable to login to same site. Twitter labelled entry as from web rather than from mobile web as with previous entries to m.twitter.com.

Gnosis firefox-addon does page interpretation and indexing. Hitting ctrl-shift-N bings up side-bar that has several categories, e.g. Company, country, Industry Term, Person, Technology, and URL. Toolbar lets user highlight entries on page and navigate. Right-click on term invites search on selection among Reuters, Google, Wikipedia and Technorati.

Portable Chrome allows the users to install the Google browser on a memory stick. It took up 43.3 MB after installation by downloaded executable Portable_Google_Chrome_04.09.2008 (11.3MB). After ChromeLoader startup, the size used was 48.9 MB and a second window brought the total to 53.7. Browsing increases the space used. Can click the rightmost icon for tools, e.g. to clear saved browsing data.
